Does the Periha PE pump turn back on automatically after a power outage?

Yes. The controller has an automatic memory function. Once power is restored, the pump will turn back on and resume operating at whichever mode (Mode 1, 2, or 3) it was set to prior to the outage.
Is the Periha PE series suitable for saltwater/marine aquariums?

Yes. The pump uses a non-corrosive ceramic shaft and plastic impeller assembly, making it completely safe for both freshwater and saltwater systems.
How do I change the flow rate?

Press the mode button on the external controller to cycle through Mode 1 (lowest flow/lowest wattage), Mode 2 (medium), and Mode 3 (maximum flow/maximum wattage).
Can I plug the controller directly into a timer or smart plug?

Yes. Because the controller features automatic power-loss memory, it will turn back on and resume your selected speed mode whenever power to the outlet is restored.
